Arrive by plane or water taxi (we can help arrange) in time for inaugural group dinner to meet your fellow travel companions and review upcoming itinerary.
Begin your vacation with a day on the water, snorkeling the Barrier Reef! After breakfast overlooking the Caribbean Sea, depart for today’s adventure. Experienced guides give a run-through of what to expect, safety, and local information. Then, hop aboard and head out to the Hol Chan Marine Reserve for breathtaking snorkeling! A waterproof camera will help you capture bright tropical fish and coral. The second snorkel location is known as Shark Ray Alley, named appropriately for the close encounters with sharks and stingrays. Not to worry, you are with experts who do this day in and day out. This incredible experience allows you to get up close and even touch nurse sharks and southern stingrays. After swimming with sharks, relax on the ride back to shore for a free evening.
Free day to explore Caye Caulker, relax on the beach, take a yoga course, book an excursion, rent a bicycle, or nap in a hammock.
Prepare for a full day of sightseeing and experiences to remember! The ancient Mayans left much to be uncovered, and Xunantunich only adds to questions on their ancient culture. This historical site is vast, with monkey and bird sightings, stone carvings ruins towering high above the trees. The grounds are virtually limitless, allowing you to climb to the top for a view over miles of rainforest and temple ruins. After Xunantunich, a bit of ziplining through the trees is sure to get everyone energized and enjoying the wild jungle of Belize. After weaving and sliding through eight ziplines, a cool-down is needed. What better way to cool off then by tubing?! Float through Nohoch Che-en Caves and limestone archways of centuries-old caves.
In the morning, meet with a local sustainable fishing expert to learn of the industry here, how it effects the food you eat, and how they are working to remain sustainable despite growing demand. The remainder of the day is a rest and recover day. Soak in the beach, relax, shop, and enjoy time with new friends. Come together in the evening for a farewell dinner.
